Our Story

Fishbone Restaurant, Bar & Grill opened on the Clontarf’s sea front in July 2016, is headed by the team behind Bay Restaurant.

Fishbone's innovative a la carte menu is served 6 days a week on both floors. Our express lunch is avaiable on Thursday & Friday from 12 pm in the winter and Monday to Friday in the main season. Our early Catch and Ocean offerings are also available according to the season.

Focusing mainly on seafood, Fishbone also takes pride in satisfying all the meat lovers as well as all the vegetarians.

Our emphasis being on sustainability, championing local produce not only from our waters, but farms and fields as well and continuing the ethos of delivering nutritious, flavoursome food at affordable prices with a casual atmosphere, aiming to create a very relaxed dining experience.

Fishbone restaurant takes pride in using only the best quality monounsaturated  oils.

Located opposite the iconic wooden bridge in Clontarf, this seaside dining retreat has uninterrupted sea views that can be enjoyed from the inside via its glass fronted windows on two different floors and for when the temperatures rise, outside on its fresh sea aired summer terrace.
